Job Description

Build, analyze, and maintain dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making. Extract, clean, and integrate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency. Analyze trends, patterns, and key metrics to generate actionable business insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into effective analytics solutions. Maintain documentation, data quality standards, and reporting processes to support scalability and performance.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, preferably in a finance, eCommerce, or SaaS-related environment.
  • Basic understanding of financial reporting, KPIs, and the role of data in business decision-making.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting insights, reporting findings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets (for data tracking), SQL (for querying databases), and Power BI or Tableau (for dashboarding).
  • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail, especially when handling large datasets, identifying trends, and troubleshooting data issues.
  • A bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

The Data Analyst would be a key player in TAG’s growth story, leading the vision from the front with the following roles:

  • Assist in building real-time dashboards and automated reports using Power BI, Google Sheets, and other BI tools, helping teams make faster and smarter financial decisions.
  • Support data extraction, transformation, and integration from various platforms like QuickBooks, Shopify, Stripe, GHL, and Google Analytics.
  • Collaborate closely with senior data engineers and CFOs to translate business requirements into functional analytics and reporting outputs.
  • Maintain and organize data repositories, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across internal tools and client-facing platforms.
  • Participate in QA and troubleshooting of dashboards and automations to ensure data accuracy and performance across all visualizations.
  • Monitor recurring workflows and alerts, helping ensure critical financial and operational updates reach the right stakeholders on time.
  • Contribute to the creation and standardization of reusable templates, reporting logic, and documentation to support scalability across clients.
  • Communicate regularly with cross-functional teams (Finance, Tech, and Operations) to understand priorities and continuously improve data pipelines and reporting processes.
