Job Description

Oversee financial records, journal entries, and reconciliations in compliance with US GAAP. Lead month-end and year-end closings, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Collaborate with leadership and client teams to finalize financial statements. Manage AP/AR, payroll accounting, and compliance with tax regulations. Review budgets and variances to drive insights, while maintaining strong internal controls, audit readiness, and guiding accounting teams

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in international accounting, preferably supporting clients in the US, UK, or other global markets
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and global tax compliance standards
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, Xero, Stripe, and Hubdoc
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, along with working, along with working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word for reporting and presentation purposes
  • Experience in preparing financial statements, performing account reconciliations, and delivering actionable financial insights
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related, or a related field; CA/CPA/ACCA (any level) is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and present complex financial data clearly

Responsibilities

The Manager - Foreign Accounting would be a key contributor to TAG’s finance team, supporting accurate reporting and compliance with the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance of financial records, journal entries, and account reconciliations in compliance with US accounting standards and GAAP
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Collaborate with MDs and Client’s finance teams to review and finalize balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable operations, including invoice approvals, payment cycles, and vendor reconciliations. Ensure compliance with US GAAP and relevant tax regulations through continuous review, research, and implementation of required standards
  • Record and review the Payroll transactions and reconcile the payroll payable and taxes accounts in month/year-end reporting
  • Review budgets, expense reports, and variance analyses to provide actionable financial insights for strategic decision-making
  • Establish and maintain proper documentation, filing, and internal controls to support audits and internal reporting requirements
  • Provide guidance to junior and senior accountants while overseeing activities related to US taxation, payroll, and statutory compliance.
