I am Varun, Founder & CEO of The Algebra Group (TAG). TAG was built with a simple but deeply personal purpose - to be a Partner to Success for our clients. Over the years, as I worked closely with founders, CFOs, and finance professionals, I repeatedly saw capable teams struggle not because they lacked intent or intelligence, but because they lacked bandwidth, access to the right talent at the right time, and a cost-effective way to scale their finance function.

That realization shaped my thinking and led to the creation of The Algebra Group. I wanted to build a firm that could act as a true extension of my client’s team - one that expanded their bandwidth, brought in the right expertise exactly when needed, and removed the friction of constant hiring. This thinking became the foundation of our Team-as-a-Service (TaaS) model, where clients gain access to a full-stack team of finance experts through a flexible, subscription-based approach.

Through TaaS, we help businesses onboard more clients, operate more efficiently, and make better decisions, without the overhead and complexity of building large in-house teams. TAG exists to be a Partner to Success for its clients. Every team we build, every process we improve, and every insight we deliver is guided by that purpose. As we continue to grow, our commitment remains the same - to help businesses scale smarter by giving them the finance structure they need to move forward with confidence.
