How we work

Team as a Service, built to run like your own team.

You buy capacity the way that fits your practice: by the block, by consumption, or by outcome. However you engage us, we work inside your world and to your standards, so it feels like an in-house function rather than a shop you ship things off to.

Three ways to engage us

Choose how you want to buy capacity.

The right model depends on how your demand behaves. Commercial terms are handled on a call; this is about structure.

Retainer

A dedicated block of capacity each month, for example a full-time-equivalent block of roughly 20 working days. You decide how to allocate it across projects and people. Best for steady, predictable volume with a team you can plan around.

Ad-hoc

Draw on us only when you need us. You pay for value hours, the productive work that defines the output, not raw time at a keyboard. Best for lumpy demand: a burst at close, or a senior review layer on your own first pass.

Percentage / Captive

We work as your captive execution team and align to the value you deliver to your own client. Usually entered after the first few months, once a system and mutual trust are in place. Best for established partners.

The integration spectrum

As embedded as you want us to be.

Independent of the model, you choose how deep we sit in your practice.

Preferred

Fully embedded

We work inside your own ecosystem: your domain, email, time zone and tools, effectively as your own team. This gives you the full value of an in-house function.

When required

Back-end

We work from our own environment and pass deliverables back. Offered when needed, though it gives you less of the embedded, in-house value.

How delivery actually works

Set up once. Then it runs.

Onboarding

We take your templates and style preferences, a current or recent project to work from, and the legal basics: typically a non-binding MSA and an SOW, plus an NDA when you want one. We write SOPs on our side so delivery survives any single person's absence.

Delivery, your way

Model-and-present is the standard path: pull finalized statements from the books, build them into an Excel model with your KPIs, and turn that into a client-ready presentation. For smaller clients where heavy reporting is not worth it, the real-time branded dashboard shows performance live instead, with AI commentary and a chatbot, so small clients stay profitable and retained.

Data security, on your terms

Finance is sensitive and we treat it that way. Work entirely inside your ecosystem, or on client-provided locked-down machines for the most security-conscious engagements. AI tools are used only with your consent, never by default on sensitive data.

The trial

Prove the quality without risking a live client.

The signature way we de-risk a first engagement: rather than waiting for your next live project, we re-deliver a project you have already completed.

You compare our output against your own on quality, communication and formatting, with nothing live at stake. It turns "prove it" into a concrete test you control.

You send
A project you have already delivered
We return
The same work, redone to our standard
You get
A side-by-side answer, before you commit
Questions we hear a lot

Answers, in plain terms.

Are these your own employees, or freelancers?

Full-time TAG employees, all of them, working from one office under one roof. That is what lets the accounting, FP&A and advisory teams coordinate internally and hand work between each other without you managing it.

How is this different from a staffing agency or hiring offshore?

A staffing agency hands you a person to manage. We hand you an already-built function: a whole value chain from bookkeeping to advisory to design and IT, coordinated behind one point of contact, with SOPs so it keeps running if someone is out. You are buying capability and capacity, not a headcount.

If you do the work behind me, how do I preserve the value my clients pay for?

We work inside your ecosystem: your domain, your brand, your time zone, effectively as your own team. Everything sits under one roof so it stays holistic, we write SOPs so it is consistent, and we hold ourselves to your standards on the small things too, from how the emails read to how the model is formatted. You are not passing work away; you are extending your own bench.

How do I know the quality is there before I commit?

Send us a project you have already delivered. We redo it, and you compare it against your own work on quality, communication and formatting, without putting a live client at stake. Test us on everything, then decide.

What about data security and confidentiality?

You set the protocol. We can work entirely within your systems, and for the most sensitive engagements we work on locked-down machines you provide. We sign an NDA whenever you want one, and we only use AI tools with your consent, never by default on sensitive data.

AI can build a model in minutes now. Why would I pay a team?

We use AI heavily too, and we are transparent about it. But AI gets you most of the way, not all the way: it misses on completeness, formatting and, most importantly, sanity. It will hand you a number that is arithmetically fine and makes no sense. The person who catches that and fixes it is what you are actually paying for.

Do you only work with US clients?

Most of our clients are US-based, and the UK and UAE are strong markets too. We bill in your currency, take payment by wire, and can work in your time zone.

What do I actually receive at the end of a month?

Depending on the setup: a clean set of financials built into a model and a client-ready presentation, or a live branded dashboard showing performance in real time with AI commentary and a client chatbot. Either way, a finished deliverable your client sees, not raw files.
